ASICS验厂咨询|要求供应商在工厂面料检验中实施四点制度
2.0 Fabric and Trim Inspection
Manufacture shall be needed to conduct Fabric Inspection and Trim Inspection accurately as the poor fabric quality is directly related to defective products. In order to minimize the chance of repair and reproduction, ASICS recommend conducting minimum 10% inspection of all piece goods per dye batch. Fabric inspection shall be conducted prior to spreading based upon the Four Point System. Factory Inspectors should be well trained and fully understand characteristics of fabric defects and trim defects.
2.1 Fabric Inspection
ASICS require Four Point System for suppliers implement at factory fabric inspection. The Four Point System defines by their severity and assigns penalty points appropriately.
1) Amount to Inspect
o Inspect at least 10% of the total rolls and yardage in the shipment. To meet the quality requirement of both you may need to inspect more than 10% of the roll or yardage.
2) Select of Rolls
o Randomly select at least one roll of each color. If more than one roll per color should be inspected, then select the number of additional rolls in proportion to the total rolls per color received.
3) Defect Classification
o The Four Point System classifies fabric defect as shown:
Penalty Points:
All major defects regardless of direction, with the exception of holes should be scored as:
Size of Defect Conversion Penalty
3 inches or less 0 to 7.5 cm 1 point
Over 3, but not over 6 inches 7.6 to 15 cm 2 points
Over 6, but not over 9 inches 15.1 to 22.5 cm 3 points
Over 9 inches 22.6 cm and Over 4 points
Allowable Points:
ASICS require no more than 20 points per 100 square yards.
Determining Pass / Fail:
Total Points in Inspected Rolls × 36 × 100 = Average Points per 100 Square Yards
Width of Roll in Inches × Total Yards InspectedEx)
Total Rolls Received: 40 Total Yards Received: 4000
Total Yards Inspection at 10%: 400 Total Penalty Points Found: 98
98 × 100 × 36 = 352,800 = 16.96 points / 100 square yards
52” × 400 20,800
Other consideration:
1) Shade must watch the approved standard from side to side and end to end throughout the roll.
2) Color inspection must be conducted at a testing stand with standard light.
Standard light source is D65 (sunlight). * In case to be inspected by specified light source, Asics shall request accordingly
3) White fabrics and fabrics which have more than width of 150cm must be inspected at a reduced speed.
4) All of defect must be displayed with a sticker on each of defect part or on defect part.
5) Fabric inspection of all materials must be recorded in a fabric inspection report.
Inspection report is needed to be included information such as;
o Date of fabric inspection
o Fabric code, color code, order number
o Fabric width
o Dye lot number
o Weight and length of each roll
o Number of defect of each roll
o Category of defect
o Name of inspector
