Fire Safety Training
消防安全培训
Evacuation drills must be conducted at least two times a year.
疏散演练至少必须每年进行两次。
Fire safety and emergency procedures must be part of the induction training for new employees and residents. Training must include how to use various fire extinguishers.

Fire Alarm

Dormitory must have a building wide fire alarm. The alarm must be audible in all areas of the dormitory and tested during the evacuation drills.

Residents should have access to a button or pull-switch to sound the building-wide fire alarm.

Fire Extinguishers

Fire extinguishers are located in or near all the sleeping quarters and must be visible and easily accessible to the residents.

Fire fighting equipment must be inspected and tested regularly.

Emergency Exits

There must be at least two (2) unobstructed emergency exits per floor or, in the case of a central stairway, exits at both ends of the hall for a total of three (3) in the building.

Exits must be kept clear at all times and lead to a safe external location.

Emergency Lighting

Sleeping Quarters

Emergency Medical Care

Emergency phone numbers must be placed in visible locations and all residents must be trained how to solicit emergency assistance in case of accident, injury, fire or other crisis.

In the absence of a medical office located on site the dormitory must have first aid kits and employees trained in First Aid.
